NoteCue is designed to keep editorial content inside the Premiere project. This policy explains the limited data used for purchases, licensing, downloads, and support.

Who controls the data

PlinkMeow is the publisher and data controller for the NoteCue website and its limited licence integration. Lemon Squeezy separately processes commerce data as merchant of record. Contact support@plinkmeow.com for NoteCue privacy questions.

Data NoteCue does not collect

NoteCue does not send or collect Premiere project names, sequence names, notes, scratchpads, markers, media paths, exported reports, or footage. Those stay in the project file and in files you choose to export.

Purchase and licence data

Lemon Squeezy processes the purchase email, payment, tax, receipt, order, download, and licence information needed to sell and deliver NoteCue. During activation, NoteCue sends your licence key and a general computer label to the NoteCue licence service. Lemon Squeezy returns the licence status, seat count, and an activation instance identifier. The plugin stores the key and instance identifier locally so it can validate or release that computer later.

Processors

Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record and provides checkout, payments, tax handling, receipts, product downloads, licence keys, and licence instances.
Cloudflare hosts the website, the small licence-validation service, DNS, security controls, operational request logs, and aggregate Web Analytics. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics service does not collect or use visitors' personal data.
Adobe provides Premiere Pro, Creative Cloud Desktop, and CCX installation technology. NoteCue is not sold or entitled through Adobe Marketplace.

What the NoteCue service stores

The NoteCue licence service does not maintain its own customer or licence database. It relays licence operations to Lemon Squeezy, checks that a key belongs to the correct NoteCue product, and removes customer details before replying to the plugin or licence centre. Cloudflare may process ordinary request metadata and short-lived operational logs needed to run and protect the service. Request bodies, licence keys, purchase emails, project content, and webhook bodies are not written to application logs.

Retention

Lemon Squeezy retains commerce and licence records under its own privacy and legal obligations. PlinkMeow may retain support correspondence and records needed for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal claims. Locally stored activation data remains on your computer until you deactivate NoteCue, clear the plugin data, or remove it.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of personal data where applicable. You may also object to certain processing or complain to your local data-protection authority. Email support@plinkmeow.com and include the purchase email, but never send card details.

Security

Payment details are handled by Lemon Squeezy and are not stored by NoteCue. The Cloudflare service keeps its Lemon Squeezy API key and webhook secret in private Worker secret bindings. Network traffic uses HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so report suspected issues to the support address.

Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
